It's no secret that American politicians and the American people are not believers in the United Nations. Americans are never going to be bound by the majority opinion of all those less powerful countries that are represented at the UN. So if America won't move on a problem - and they don't have a reputation as problem solvers - then it's left to the Canadians and the Swedes, God bless them.
America is reluctant to intrude in Sudan because it's part of the spread of Islam southwards into central Africa, replacing the more tribal animist groups. America does not want to offend Muslim powers in Africa because it might put pressure on American-friendly regimes such as Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia. It's very much like a house of cards in the Middle East. Washington is worried that the Abbassids might come back to control a vast swath of territory from Morocco to Indonesia, from Turkey down to Nigeria.
The world keeps watching as a Canadian I wished we would help but sadly. Our government is just as reluctant as the American government. There is no money or oil, in Darfur. And because there is nothing for our government in Darfur we will never help them. Plain and simple, fiat money runs this world not the human soul.
Due a large amount of 'bad reports' related to new, especially 'now showing in theaters' blockbusters movies
I wish to notice that movie files have a very short lifetime (from hour to day) before they will be deleted.
