Two separate pairs of voluptuous women are stalked at different times by a scarred stuntman who uses his "death proof" cars to execute his murderous plans.
Where to begin really, this is an absolutely magnificent film made by Tarantino but not much of a suprise there! He has directed what I would say is seriously a modern-day classic and by that I mean it's a modern day film but made in a classic way! This filming techniques used here are fantastic with burns and skipping to the actual footage to resemble how it would happen back in the 70's. Although it's set in modern-day Austin, Texas and then later on Tennesee you really get the feel of the 70's era in particular places where they have yet to catch up to the 21st Century. The characters in this film are really great, Kurt Russell plays an absolutely awesome villain, the girls in this film are beautiful, especially Mary Elizabeth Winstead! The plot for this film is unique considering it's a slasher/thriller film, it's quite a settled flick but with some absolutely awesome action sequences. The music score is another masterpiece which really adds to the feel of the 70's modern day era.
5/5 - An all-rounder which pulls off all the stops, great characters, music, plot, setting and filming! CHECK IT OUT!
not 1 of Quentin's best films by far but right up there with the likes of his other films for sure. It is a must watch if u like his movies. I give it a 7.7/10 stars.
For All Of You Who Wants To Know Whats Comming Up From Tarantino
Inglorious Bastards is a planned ensemble war film to be directed by Quentin Tarantino, who also wrote the script. The film has experienced several false starts, but it is now scheduled to begin production in October 2008 in France and Germany. Casting is underway, and Brad Pitt, Mike Myers, and Eli Roth were cast into roles. Tarantino plans to complete production of Inglorious Bastards in time for release at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2009.
Premise
According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Two story lines.. converge: One follows a group of prisoners-turned-soldiers whose mission is to take down a group of Nazis, and the other follows a young Jewish woman who seeks to avenge the death of her parents by this Nazi group."
The film will be divided into five chapters:
* Chapter One: Once Upon a Time.. Nazi Occupied France
* Chapter Two: Inglorious Bastards
* Chapter Three: German Night in Paris (filmed in "French New Wave Black and White")
* Chapter Four: Operation Kino
