The film is basically split into three parts . The first part sets up the formation of the home guard platoon , the continuity here differs slightly from the first episode broadcast in 1968 but it is rather similar to the original episode , the second part features the platoon going on a training excersise while the third part features a hostage situation with some downed Luftwaffe crew . I don`t know if it`s coincidence but the best remembered episode of the series was the one featuring a U-Boat crew in a hostage situation , the two plots are very very similar
It's a film which would be foolish to miss for anyone that loves the T.V. series which went along with this and any other great British classic comedy series.
Not quite as good as the TV or Radio series (you never expect that with movie spin-offs, really), but as far as films go, I couldn't agree with Cicatuer more - an absolute gem and timeless classic! Poor Greenfrog759 must be missing-out on so much; I have always adored "Dad's Army" and appreciate more as time goes on. It has the best observations on people, their quirks and the situations which arise out of life. Brilliant direction, scriptwork and superb comic character acting from the main cast. Wonderful.
Great Movie, A Break From The Current Mundane Movies
what are you talking about, this movie is great, you just have no appreciation for the classics. This movie was hilarious, I am surprised that you can say that about this movie, either you have no since of humor, or you didn't even watch the show, probably started the first scene and noticed that it was filmed 37 years ago and decided that nothing good could come of it. I gave this movie a 8.3/10, because I did feel that it did drag on in places, but over all it was a great movie. Unfortunately the quality wasn't the best, but it works well enough to watch it in full screen, though it is very grainy. 2/5 stars for the version.
Due a large amount of 'bad reports' related to new, especially 'now showing in theaters' blockbusters movies
I wish to notice that movie files have a very short lifetime (from hour to day) before they will be deleted.
We are not hosting, not uploading movie files, we just search & collect movie files from the internet, therefore
we can't fix broken file, we can just find another copy elsewhere and we are trying constantly to do it as fast as we can.
