In the waning days of the American Civil War, a wounded soldier (Law) embarks on a perilous journey back home to Cold Mountain, North Carolina to reunite with his sweetheart (Kidman). Based on the novel by Charles Frazier.
One of my favorite movies. The acting is wonderful and what i love most about this story is it is about two people surviving during this terrible time and how they overcome it but its not only about those two people. You also get to see many other people and their struggles through it all.
One of the best movies ever made.
Consists an incredible cast ensemble (Kidman, Law, Zelwegger, Gleeson), a great plot.
The end really is a tear-jerker. I was totally hooked to the TV set when I watched it on cables!
When I first seen the trailer I thought this movie would not be one for me to watch. But I watched it to see whether I was rigt and I was wrong. This is a great movie. Really dramatic and just amazingly good. MUST SEE. 10/10
