As the devoutly single Don Johnston (Murray) is dumped by his latest girlfriend (Delpy), he receives an anonymous pink letter informing him that he has a son who may be looking for him. The situation causes Don to examine his relationships with women instead of moving on to the next one, and he embarks on a cross-country search for his old flames who might possess clues to the mystery at hand.
I saw this when it came out with my mom and older sister, and all of us were pretty disappointed with this movie. I can see it had some potential but, I don't know..I would say it was "weird", but I often time like weirder movies..so I really don't know how to classify this. It just seemed like it was a bunch of stuff a film major jumbled together for his/her final project then labeled it as a movie. Just not my cup of tea. I forgive Bill though.
?? Crazy plot, crazy soundtrack, looked like it had potential at the beginning, and looked like it could have been so much better if you threw in a little comedy, and use Bill Murrays extraordinary acting skills. But the director wasted his talent.
Perhaps when you have kids thrown into the mixture and only get out to the movies every so often, there is a higher bar created. If you will only see a handful of movies in a year, this one definitely does not clear the bar. On paper, there is an intellectual element that can be used to create a conversation on the meaning of several of the sub-plots. I can see why the critics may feel compelled to give this a "high" rating, given the formula the film uses..but probably on a parallel that audiences for Broadway shows feel compelled to give a standing ovation regardless of quality. It just took too long to get some moral points across that could have been done in a much more entertaining way..or within a deeper level of witty conversation at least. Bill Murry's role was disappointing..this is more of situational ( ala lost in translation) vs. wit (ala what about bob).
Due a large amount of 'bad reports' related to new, especially 'now showing in theaters' blockbusters movies
I wish to notice that movie files have a very short lifetime (from hour to day) before they will be deleted.
We are not hosting, not uploading movie files, we just search & collect movie files from the internet, therefore
we can't fix broken file, we can just find another copy elsewhere and we are trying constantly to do it as fast as we can.
